last day of term three
HAPPY TEACHERS DAY!
coincidentally today is also the last day of term three plus celebrations. also is the 19th first event. though the strength of students in school is very small. majority had ponned to visit their secondary schools. which i dun blame the at all. give me a choice, i would also go visit my secondary school. but anyway. its our first event. and its a success! can i say im quite proud of our contributions?
at yesterday's debrief, gayne mentioned about council's work is always unseen. no one noes wad we do. tis i agree. eh.. the sentences sound quite funny. jamie and i reached school five minutes before six-thirty. and we began the day by blowing balloons. o.0" cause we have the intention of throwing balloons from the second level when they declare the start of carnival. and hence, balloons-blowing time! den we did some last minute preparations, helping jon and clara with the signs.
later it began to rain. there were very last minute changes to assembly venues. but like the TAs said. we handled the change efficiently. despite all the 101 things we have to do, as it was raining then. some of wel co. peeps put down their stuff and began the umbrella operations. and that was when i appreciate their thoughtfulness. ive never been bringing my umbrella to school these few days. so as a person who kanna trapped in the rain point of view, i ll be so happy to see someone bringing an umbrella for me. making a group of people to abandon setting their stalls for awhile and attend morning assembly is not as easy as you think. but.. assembly managed to start on time even though it was still raining.
following.. the concert was a success. everything went well. im ending this quite hastily because im gg to start my revision!!! felicia danced very well. didnt noe she could twist and pose so well. thot she could only sing sapranos.. miss tan was so cute in the skit!! hope she will be our econs teacher 4.eva!! and jeremy! tsk tsk. trying to damage AVs equipment. knock down the mike as he did the "stunt" lols. but i think he did better than previous rehearsals. lucky they didnt wear school uni. and the lead singer actually did try to engage the audience even though compare to the other band.. never mind. who cares about them? jeremy, i wan you to noe! im rooting for you! so other events right, continue to participate. gain more experience and i think your group co-ordination ll improve. however, change songs ok? no more sweet child of mine and ocean avenue. hahas.
after the concert, we went cleaning up the hall. why did we come up with the idea of balloons and poppers? lols. im not complaining. sads. its only few of us doing. cause others are patrolling the carnival. but after cleaning up, miss foo gave us the go ahead to enjoy for awhile. hohoho. tis s so cool. poor miss foo lost her voice, and couldnt even utter one word. mrs tan had to represent her to do debrief instead.
do you noe srjc had its first ever carnival today. actually its a mini one. one hour of fun and letting go. im quite apologetic to some classes who actually incurred losses from the fair. but my class? i heard from jiaqing that we earn a profit of 20 plus bucks. so its good news. and i bought quite alot of food from my frenz. must show some support if not they ll nagg at me again. thankful i got 10 dollar allowance to day. of course i didnt spent all. -___- im a conscientious spender. anyways, i think the teachers day gifts were all given out. s13 guys were damn efficient. and im quite glad the last minute plan didnt flop and we could still earn supernormal profit. sorry about those misconceptions i had, guys.
finally the day ended smoothly. dunno how the school ll see us now? are they or not impressed by us? i quite hope they ll be impressed. or else where are we going to get the peeps for OGL camp and orientation? the stressful days finally ended. and i guess im back to my sane mode bah. at least the next month, there wun be any more going home later. its promos time! but my mom not gg to be at home le.. she gg to work. which means im not gg to have homecooked meals for one whole month. why must she go sell mooncakes? in other words, i have to settle my dinners myself le. crap.. sobs..
