funny but stressful day @ work

it is a funny day for me,
but stressful for all my colleagues.
the overseas branch office encountered some problems, and require immediate attention from the upper head. so G was a little vexed.

last weekend I spent morning tutoring a P1 student, who was hyperactive and talkative. during the one and a half hours, his mom would come in the room, thankfully, and told her son off for being rude (he keeps ordering me to mark his assessment book lar, like I'm paid to go there to mark his work -.-") and chatting with me. it was more like a fun chatting session with the son, who never stops talking. poor me, never stops listening. :S Anyway, 1 1/2 hours always passed very fast. besides getting him to read me pages from his english textbook, make him to do his grammar exercises and substraction sums, under his mom's instructions, i gave him homework; 8 pages for both english and math. wahaha, poor him. who ask him bully me. heez~

after tuition, i was supposed to meet stella and go celebrate peiwen's birthday. but last minute the latter got sick and green, we didn't go in the end. sorry, peiwen! happy belated birthday again! ^^ so i went to my aunty's house, read fairy tales to my niece. apparently her mom (my cousin) brought the old, passed down picture book. i was the one who read to Rachel. my cousin was lying on the bed listening and snoring, and Rachel was beside me reading after me, pointing and looking at the pictures. Cinderella, Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Snow white... exploitation of her aunty! !o! bleahs.

before that, we (my aunts, pregnant cousin and me) were choosing names for her unborn child. because Rachel's name starts with 嘉, if it's a girl, she wants to follow that. if it's a boy, his name will start with the family, 家. so i gave a list. immediately, 何必问！何加薪！awesome right? get to serious business. we finally got some names after chorus of agreement and disputes. boy, he shall be named 何家俊 or 何家伟. girl, she shall be named 何嘉怡 or 何嘉琪. of course lar, this aint confirmed. hehes. though i did come up one - 何嘉恩 (but i shout out, no that is for my child in the future) =d end up i kanna suan by my aunts and cousin. tsk tsk.

anyway, i thought of some names. whether or not, i'm getting married in the future. if single, i can just adopt a kid. ^^ so here are the names, 凯恩、凯锋、凯诗、凯欣、凯杰... hahahas~ more to come. for now, there are these few. bo liao ma.

caught die hard 4.0 and enchanted on the dvd/vcd i rented last friday. they are all so awesome. Die hard is the best! it's like those old action packed movies been revived! i missed it soo much! Bruce Willis being the usual cop, was send out on a mission to save this guy's ass from being killed by the baddies. in the show, the time frame was extremely short with two days. and bruce aka john McClane never dies from all the jumping, falling, shooting, running, lounging, fighting... woah~ i haven't seen all my old action stars on the silver screen for a long long time. and i wondered what the hell was i doing last year, missing out on this freakin' nice show~~~ must be the exams! i can't believe i'm a freak. =S FYI, Maggie Q is HOT! she is quite beautiful! trust me, i hardly praise others' beauty. but she really is pretty.

and enchanted was okay. i had a good laugh at some parts. the guy acted peter pettigrew in harry potter was there! laugh out loud. the best part of all was when giselle's singing voice attracts all the unmentionables from the real world. unmentionables refer to cockroaches, pigeons, houseflies etc... and they all helped out with giselle's daily chores. that's funny. but it wasn't as funny as white chicks i watched yesterday. i was roaring with laughter during the auction when Megan was shouting the bid for Brittany Wilson aka Kevin. and then Marcus on the floor forcing people to bid.

i guess every saturday night now shall be dedicated to DVD time because there aren't any nice shows on television from 9 onwards. so casino royale and game plan this sat. woots!

I haven't been updating my "wonderful" life recently.
been busy with stuff here and there.
today I acclaimed my new role as Xpress receptionist because Daphne is on leave for four days. =.=

it was another solemn british film in the beginning, but stella and I made it hilarious during those ahem-ahem scenes. rather the actors and actresses made the scenes so funny. especially natalie portman in that particular scene. laugh out loud.

it's a crazy day @ work

adeline is not coming in today, cos she is on overseas trip at shenzhen.
gordon is not coming in today, cos he has a court session which he has to attend.
so today's HR department leaves only daphne, may, meiling and
ME.

we had the most outrageous lunch just now;
ordering kfc delivery to office.

this is the post I'm talking about.
last saturday, i went to attend my cousin's ncc ceremony and coincidentally my eldest cousin works at the ncc department of ministry.
so my aunt, uncle and i got the vip seats, which were at the fourth front row of the stage, and we had labels with "reserved" too.

anyway, it wasn't my first time attending. previously i went my brother's ceremony too.
with the same purpose, to ogle at handsome and macho guys in uniforms. ^^
my cousin and I did see several "eye-candies",
but...
either they are wearing this band on their fourth finger or they had their girlfriends with them.
what a dork.

sometimes, i really have to admit that singapore is really like a small dot now.
mr. tan teck hock was at the event as an invited guest; he was sitting three rows before me.
!o! i recognized my former JC principal from the moment he walked in with the VIPs when the ceremony began. i was like "what a joke"... telling my cousin who had finished her job and was sitting with us. she thought my principal look like my father; except mr. tan is better looking. lol.
which i have to agree. mr. tan does look like my dad, that is the feeling i got from last year.
same seriousness, same build, same face... same texture of skin... and what's else. =.=

lucky he doesn't know me in school. if not, during the reception... i will be totally speechless..

wells, we saw one of our meal mates from last year holiday trip there too. he is a teacher, and obviously in charge of ncc. we saw him wearing his ncc officer uniform. actually, i was the one to recognize him. can't blame me for having eagle eyes. because every now and then, i'll always see familiar faces when i'm out on the streets. so i have to open my eyes wider to spot my friends in case they sneak behind and then scare me. i'm just being overly-paranoid.
