demeters family.
- demeter family -(names? 28 names.. still trying to memorize la...)
it was my first time being an OFC (orientation family councilor). so was evan, my partner and the rest of OFCs.. anws. OGL camp ended!! yeahs.. despite many problems we faced, the camp ended smoothly. YIPPEE! didnt have enuff sleep these two nites.. i think all councilors slept around three to four hours each day.. and the next morning, we had to look fresh, enthu, and present ourselves to the OGLs. even though we were very very TIRED, and lack of sleep..
first day, evan and i were to welcome our family. demeters. honestly speaking, i hardly knew any of them. they look foreign to me despite the fact that we were in the same college for a year.. i only noe one or two of them.. anws. i got those pretty high ppl on my team. ppl like solomon, edward, eunice, lanyan, alvin etc.. they can lead man. hahas. i really got a bad memory this time.. remembering the names of my OGLs. craps. got one guy's name is meng siang.. and i kept calling him siang meng.. end up he got bei chey. lols.. that was the first day la. out of all, i think i like group sessions the best.. the time whn only demeters are in it-rm 2 by themselves with no teachers (perhaps for one session), using computers. hoho. i was rly worried that they couldnt come up with the walk-ins and performance in time. but lucky.. i think i need to thank all the buddhas sia. its like me and evan faced difficulty in getting the music last min. becos the mp3 low batt near dinner time.. it drove both of us insane.. cos we kept asking councilors around us, who had high sch musical songs.. but we forgot to ask the crucial man.. amos.. arghs.. we almost died.. im still proud of my group even though some technical faults occured during the performance due to some mistakes.. if not i think we are the best loh. HALLOS. some ppl may think i bhb las or i m biased.. bleah.. come on, think at another angle. like argo, my group were doing a dance. grinx. they learnt it in such short notice. so i think ppl who performed dance that nite totally rox!
i dun think i have any voice left le.. after all those shoutings.. hais.. dunno how these OGLs will rate us also. we shall noe on the 12th. we pulled through another event. but there is another BIG one coming next jan. no matter wad, im gg to stick with my demeterians all the way. im gg to be very sad whn come second orientation.. cannot work with my guys anymore le.. hais.. i dunno who said before during some debriefs at god-knows-wad-time.. to OFCs, our OGLs are babies to us.. we are like their mommies. even though most of us are of same age, some may b even older.. aiya. dun care! just chiong all the way~ finish first Orientation den say.. for both Os, we got the best OFLS to lead the family at both orientations.. and for the first one, i think we got most of hype ppl. though we tried our best to balance it. sure demeters can bring up the atmospheres then.. until then, i think i would cry sia. bi jing got feelings le.. esp. we will meet up quite frequently the next two weeks to do ori stuff.. gettin bz again.. i wan to rebutt jiaqing's words, this dec is not hols to me at all. no mood. lols. just kidding..
last day.. i hope we got the trust and acceptance from our OGLs. finally..
