Saw my entry's title? It's the koreans' style of writing the date. Took me quite a while to get used to it. -.- After all, I've been writing in DD.MM.YY format not the other way round... Almost a week at home, I think I've grown fatter with the eating and sleeping. I sleep late at night, around 2 to 3AM and I wake up late the next morning, around 10 to 11AM. Notice the AM mode? ...
Anyway I'm here tonight to post something of my fantasized world. From the something, you may conclude I'd definitely watched too many drama series A's that I now turned into a scary monster. Haha! Honestly, romanticizing and writing has become my life from young, not now. So don't see me like nothing-better-to-do as I'm currently unemployed. Oh yeah, friends you should remember that I'd once said I may want to become a scriptwriter next time, because I really don't like watching local shows... Shan't continue. XS
And speaking of which, this is one of the secret projects I mentioned the other time. Ta-da. Writing. =X So Ethel, I don't think you can help me even though I really appreciate it. Why not you help me with another secret mission? Teach me how to bake yummy cakes and cookies. :D
Well this is the excerpt. Read it only you are free. I shall not be liable if your boss or mom caught you visiting your friends' blog when you are not supposed to.
Pardon all my spelling and gramatic errors. (The first language I speak and write is not English...)
Enjoy reading.
Cheers, the stupid writer X)
PROLOGUE
Somewhere, a man in his late twenties was sitting alone in a pub. He had been in the same spot since opening time, ordering whisky one after another that he already lost count. Once in a while, some scantily clad ladies would approach to flirt with him. He was amused by their attempts.
In return, he bought them all a drink and then asked them to find another man, who will enjoy their company.
He wished to be alone.
“Do you need me to get a cab?” the bartender asked, when he finally got up from his seat. “Sir, you look drunk.”
He stared at the young lad.
It was the third time he came this week, yet he could not remember his name. Jaesun, did he say?
“Uh, I’m fine…” he slurred. “Thank you, Jaesun…”
Jaewoo shrugged, and cleaned his remaining mugs.
How could the bartender pass down a reckless remark?
He is not drunk.
If he were, he wouldn’t feel miserable as before. The alcohol would have ease away his pain, and made him forget about all his troubles. But he did not.
Her angelic face.
Her willowy figure.
Her long black hair.
Her smell.
Her sweet voice.
Her bubbly character.
Everything about her was so distinct in his memory.
He looked up the night sky.
There were stars tonight. In fact, there were many for him to spot so many stars in the city.
One. Two. Three. Four…
Twenty-three.
He stopped counting after the twenty-third star in the sky.
“Hyunae…” he murmured.
Hello, my love.
He waved at the star. It was particularly bright among all.
How are you over there? You must be very happy.
Well I'm not. I can't get over you.
I miss you terribly, do you know?
..... TO BE CONTINUED
(I don't think anyone will want to continue reading... :S Nevertheless, I still want to show off. I've finished almost one and a half chapter, total 16 A4 pages. Grinx. I hope I don't give up writing because in the past there were many many stories, English and Mandarin version, I wrote out of mood and then gave up halfway because I lost interest. Some files were gone forever during the shift from desktop to laptop 1 and then now, laptop 2. Kinda disappointed. Hais. But that's life. Deal with it. Maybe I didn't put enough effort in writing the previous ones so I hope I can finish this one. Aah!)
P.s. Miss Chia is always spending time doing what others normally don't do because she loves staying at home. =)
